About Us

Vindico is on a journey.

What started out in 2014 as a traditional Tech company has evolved into one of Wales’ most innovative software organisations (and we have the awards to prove it!).

Our founders brought decades of experience in the sector to the fold, adding expertise at every level to assemble a team that can take on a massively diverse range of projects. From sensor technologies and apps with leading global sports brands, to new ways for AI to integrate with the defence sector, you will never be bored at Vindico!

Your development as experts and leaders is extremely important to us. We back this up with personal development plans for all staff as well as an annual training budget while allowing set times for study in working hours to continue your evolution. Our aim is to create a supportive environment where you feel genuinely recognized and encouraged in all aspects of your life, ensuring that we grow together in alignment with our shared values and objectives.

Join us on this journey, you won't look back!

The Role

We're looking for an insightful, emotionally intelligent and proactive Project Manager to join our growing team.  Reporting to the Chief Project Officer, you'll play a vital role in driving our projects forward, working closely with colleagues, clients, and partners to seamlessly guide them from concept to delivery.

Your ability to cultivate and maintain strong relationships, understand diverse perspectives, and adapt your communication and delivery style will be key to your success.

Positivity, resilience, and the ability to adapt to project requirements is essential, as here at Vindico meaningful and valuable engagement, both internal and external, is everyone’s business and expected as a baseline.

There is no ‘typical day’, but as a Project Manager within the Vindico community you’ll likely be found attending pod or project stand ups, catching up with colleagues and clients to maintain an understanding of project requirements, prioritising and allocating work/tasks alongside the developer community, and as PMs do (the good ones anyway) be found scribbling away on a  notebook or FigJam to identify improvements and efficiencies!

  • Motivation: Inspire and motivate project teams, recognising individual and collective strengths, empathising with limitations or issues faced, and fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Risk Management: Implement risk and issue management processes, and engage appropriate stakeholders to ensure effective ownership and action as required.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify, co-develop and implement processes or tools to optimise project efficiency, and contribute to company-wide knowledge sharing.

Essential Criteria

    • Project/Portfolio Management and Delivery: Experience in, and evidence of, successfully managing projects or programmes; inclusive of budgets, schedules and resources.

  • Emotional Intelligence: Exceptional interpersonal skills, with demonstrated empathy, influence, and the ability to build trust across various teams, stakeholders and personalities.
  • Conflict Resolution: Proven ability to resolve challenges with diplomacy and find collaborative solutions that keep projects progressing.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, able to manage shifting priorities and navigate ambiguity with flexibility and resilience.
  • Organisational Excellence: Meticulous attention to detail balanced with delivering well-organised projects and adhering to deadlines.
  • Lifelong Learner: Enthusiasm for ongoing development in project management methodologies and software development trends.
