Vindico started in 2014 with a simple belief: the best technology companies don't just build what's asked — they challenge assumptions, ask harder questions, and find the real problem worth solving. We called this approach #ThinkPurple, and it's driven everything we've done since.
In the early days, we cut our teeth on stadium infrastructure, networking, and consultancy — working with organisations like the Welsh Rugby Union, Transport for Wales, and Ministry of Defence. Those relationships taught us what it means to deliver technology that has to work under pressure, at scale, with no second chances.
Over the years we evolved. What began as a tech consultancy grew into a full-service software development studio. We built SWAPP, a workplace management platform born during the pandemic that's now one of the most widely used safety apps across UK construction and sport. We launched Vindishow, a digital signage platform running in venues nationwide. We delivered custom platforms for defence, healthcare, transport, and education.

But the biggest shift happened in how we build. We were early adopters of AI-assisted development — embedding AI tools into our workflows, accelerating delivery, and improving code quality. That was the AI-first era. It gave us an edge, but we knew it was only the beginning.
Today, we've moved beyond AI-first to AI-native. Every new project we take on is built with AI woven into the development process from day one — not bolted on as an afterthought, but fundamentally shaping how we architect, write, test, and ship code. Our proprietary toolkits and AI-powered workflows mean we deliver at a pace and quality level that teams three times our size can't match.
