Oomph! Wellness delivered in-person wellbeing activities to care homes — exercise classes, music sessions, social activities for elderly residents. When COVID-19 hit, the in-person model became impossible overnight.
Residents — many isolated, confused, and frightened — lost access to the social interaction and physical activity keeping them well. Oomph! needed their entire service digitised and deployed to thousands of care homes immediately. Not a video library — a proper platform that maintained the personalised, structured approach of the in-person service.
Then, partway through the build, Oomph! was acquired by PCS (Person Centred Software). New stakeholders, new technical requirements, new integration points — and the same urgent timeline.
