The Brave Bear Trust supports children and families dealing with serious illness. They had a beloved children's storybook — "Brave Bear" — written to help children understand what happens when a parent or family member is seriously ill.
The trust wanted to bring the book to life digitally, creating an animated, interactive experience that children could engage with on tablets and phones. The goal was to extend the reach of the story far beyond physical book distribution, making it freely available to any family who needed it — in hospitals, hospices, and homes across the UK.
Vindico created a digital animation of the Brave Bear storybook — a sensitive, beautifully crafted interactive experience designed for young children navigating incredibly difficult circumstances.
