Elevating the matchday experience
Parc y Scarlets, home of the Scarlets rugby region in Llanelli, is one of the premier sporting venues in Wales. With a passionate fanbase expecting a world-class matchday experience, the stadium wanted to go beyond traditional scoreboards and bring pitch-side technology to life.
The vision was ambitious: deliver live match statistics, instant video replays, and interactive fan engagement features — all displayed on giant LED screens in real-time during matches. The system needed to integrate with official data feeds and broadcast systems, while operating reliably in challenging outdoor conditions across the Welsh rugby season.
Beyond the technical requirements, the platform also needed to create new commercial opportunities through sponsor activations and digital advertising, helping the venue maximise revenue from its matchday infrastructure.
